Industrial Site Inventory & Assessment

The Town of Bethlehem Industrial Development Agency (BIDA) commissioned this Industrial Site Inventory and Assessment to better understand the Town’s capacity to support future industrial and employment-based development, and to proactively position key sites for investment.

As demand continues to grow for development-ready industrial land across the Capital Region and New York State, communities with well-documented, shovel-ready sites are best positioned to attract private investment and compete for state and federal funding opportunities, including Empire State Development’s FAST NY and POWER UP programs.

This report identifies where industrial growth can occur in Bethlehem – and what is needed to make it happen. BIDA appreciates the property owners who participated in this study and recognizes that future development will occur through voluntary landowner interest and partnership.
